Most music documentaries are pretty average, VH1 behind the music has all the tragedy for the bigger stars, some jazz documentaries and movies are pretty good like chet bakers documentary. The netflix ones I posted on here are the best.

The ones on netflix on here about Daniel johnston and Roky erikson are a must , great documentaries even if you dont like the music.

Chet bakers is all on youtube. alot of 50s feel to this.Afro Brazilian, west coast jazz- beautiful scenes in this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM06zJReXyk .

These other guys are very talented but crazy and the documentaries are really great even if you dont like the music.

Garage band star from the 60s from Texas. Very moving documentary. Roky erikson.

You're gonna miss me

This guy was a big star among alternative circles but really disturbed, not faking it like most indie stars. He really is crazy.

The devil and daniel johnston
