On Wednesday, the Dolphins finally joined the arms race, trading for Denver receiver Brandon Marshall, who had been a headache - but a really productive one - for Coach Josh McDaniels. In exchange, the Broncos will receive the Dolphins second-round pick in next weeks draft and their second rounder in the 2011 draft. With Braylon Edwards (Jets), Santonio Holmes (acquired by the Jets Sunday night), Randy Moss (Patriots) and now Marshall, the A.F.C. East might have more downfield firepower than any other division.

Bigtime Fish fan here, love this.

I'd say he won't act up because th big tuna would just get rid of him, but with the kind of contract he will sign I don't know if that is the case. They will have a lot of eggs in his basket. And of course it is Miami, easy place to get in trouble

Years of Henne to Marshall? I think so.

Takes some weight off of Ricky and Ronnie too so they can smoke and drink all they want, they will be happier people :)

Ray Finkle looks to be dominant this year too, as long as Lois Einhorn doesn't get involved.

Seriously though, turning into a well rounded team. Just have to do something about that horrid secondary and add a pass rusher or two with Porter gone and Taylor likely going elsewhere and I love the look of this team.

The Santonio Holmes case is much worse but I still think a guy with that much proven talent should be worth a lot more than two crapshoot draft picks. I guess I'd have to see a list of guys drafted in that range (~50th?) to see what the percentages are but I'd think the chances of getting a guy with that much talent with those two picks are slim.

The big thing is the headache factor which I guess I just don't understand and is obviously a bigger deal than I can fathom.
