With Bradley, Altidore and Giovinco all on Toronto FC, I'm thinking of adopting them as my MLS side until Miami gets its act together.


What's the scuttlebutt on the renovations? How is the surrounding area? This could be Trons home base for his inevitable first trip to Roronto (which will be scheduled around a Toronto FC home match).


Just felt like we needed a BMO Field thread.

Exhibition Place is a HUGH sorta isolated non-neighborhood that's filled with HUGH sports venues, convention centres and whatnot.

BMO Field itself looks nice enough. But there is nothing right around it except for other venues.
 
Sounds like a good idea Tron! The Union blow (forever it seems) so I'm rooting for Toronto with the guys you mentioned! The BMO looks very nice too but looking at the small capacity might not be enough for WC matches with $$$ involved?

Look at where the Duke-Zag game was played at? I'm not buying a middle price ranged ticket to watch it at a converted football stadium? Some of those sites the NCAA uses for games look like an empty vacuum! A behind the basket seat isn't really behind the basket!

That is where the final four is held next year. Big unders in the three games this weekend there.
 
FW, just didn't realize they now have them sometimes too for the Elite 8! Hopefully get to the point like baseball and trending in the NFL going back to natural turf! The whole college atmosphere thing is lost at these places! NOISE please!

They came up with some new rule that a venue must hold 30K+ to be considered a final four host. As an added bonus, the host city gets to host the sweet 16/elite 8 rounds the year prior to the final four.
