best thing to do is be honest with them... if you take pk's recreationally from time to time, tell them... but , make sure they get an xray and all that shit first before you bring it up, so that they know you really fucked something up...that way you can tell them that you have a higher tolerance and need whatever the best shit is that they can give you... i learned a long time ago that there are a few people in the world that you MUST be best friends with.... doctor, lawyer, cop and banker...
 
If your in pain that there shouldn't be a problem (especially when supported by objective date, xray, etc). I once dated this girl who had big tits and fibrous something in her breasts (pre-cancer). Anyways, one day she was in real fukin extreme pain so I bought her to the ER. They thought we were med seeking until they used some machine which measures how often pain fibers were firing...prescribed oxy's on the spot.
 
Dude, you live in Florida. From what I'm told, it's actually easier to get painkillers there than it is to buy pot here in California. Now considering how much pot there is here, that's really saying something.
