I would assume that replacing all of the current chips would cost more than the value of the lost chips. I would think for a little while at least and done very sparingly he will get away with it. I have no idea how well monitored a high Roller is but I would assume the casino knows exactly how much in chips go to and from them so I can't see how he could conspire with some whale to get the chips cashed out.

My thing is how are there no metal detectors at the entrances of these places. Sure you have private security in and out with certain players maybe but they would still have to clear some security checkpoint I would have thought.

Really? Can you imagine having to empty your pockets and take your belt off before entering a casino? Come on now.

It wouldn't be that hard to slip chips into play or sell them to a whale. It wouldn't be able to be done any time soon though since the Bellagio has a lockdown on chips at the moment (meaning you can't cash their chips at other locations) and they will be monitoring it closely for a while.

Interesting story. Cashing in the chips will be a pain, but there's probably some creative ways of doing it. If the guy knew what he was doing he has a plan in mind. If he's some dope, he'll get nailed. Oceans 11 didn't need to be so complicated after all. :lmao:
