Now I studied general relativity and my first thought is get the fuck off my leg with that shit.
But no, true. And it's not that general relativity is false - the devil is in the details; general relativity states that nothing can go through space at faster than the speed of light. Well the thing with the post-big bang universe: it is wailing off in every direction in such a crazy way that space changes in places. It's not space - it's something else.
