went to my first wedding shower in my life 2 weekends ago, both the bride and groom were there.

last weekend we went to ohio and my girl's family had a shower for her. all womens. My dad, oldest brother and her Dad and I went to the football hall of fame and then hit golf balls. while they partied

But yes, us Anglos separate Men and Women for these events. The Spanish tradition is to bring all together and celebrate.

I glossed over it RJ. Common Archie one time. My Northern folk make this mistake all the time. All Spanish speaking people are descendents of Mexicans. Have we had this conversation here before?
