Automated Roulette

I saw this for the first time last weekend in Michigan.

Genius for the casinos. You get a spin every minute and a half or so. You lose labor of a dealer (spinner?) and at busy tables, a chip counter as well. No chips, all automated balances. Table I was at seated up to 10 players.

I'm surprised I'd never seen it before, even in Vegas. Maybe they were there and I just didn't see them.

PS I know Roulette is another awful game EV-wise...but so much fun, I always donate to the cause. Strangely enough I won at that as well. Also won on blackjack. Only games I lost on was poker and video poker.

I don't like them, the whole fun of roulette is the atmosphere around the table imo

Hmmm...we both do live in TPA. We both look like Charlie Brown. We both have a sexual crush on Bobby.



PS I agree about the table atmosphere for many games. Poker and blackjack being the biggest ones. I never had much fun with players at a roulette table. I didn't mind being in my own little world pressing buttons at all.
