We need to collaborate on todays World Cup match between Spain and Germany. Germany has been a nice surprise like the Netherlands but Spain has tradition and a solid team on their side. Some key suspensions for todays match though.

I'm thinking Spain advances but like the draw contest.

What say Big Baller?

Don't give me that, "I quit gambling" "I had a bad run" crap either. Get in here and do some magic. World Cup Wally is just Wally's World without Big Ballin Bread.
 
Well Wallyballs, I've won big 3 straight World Cup days. I'm taking today off. BUT....

I did place my only future about a week and a half ago on Germany to win it all, so that is what I am rooting for.

Let me know what you end up doing.
 
Doing is done. I just wanted to give you an opportunity to participate since I read a thread where you were hanging it up and quiting cause of some Asian jinx or whatever. I'm on Spain and on the draw. I had early success so things look good for you.
 
Both of you, Reno and Daft, don't question conversations between big timers like me and Bread. If you had to ask these questions then it's obvious you aren't capable of understanding the BS responses I would give them.

After being called out I went to do some research to prove that while I know nothing about soccer I am obviously naturally intelligent enough to speak on a higher level even without support. After my research is complete it turns out, I'm full of crap.

Turns out that on an Olympic front Germany has never had much success on the world stage but in World Cup soccer Germany has a long history of success. While much of the early success was seperated between West and East Germany. Also when you realize that Germany was banned from international competetion after World War II until 1950 the Germans are all that much more impressive.

Clearly I was wrong. Germany as it turns out is one of the top 3 teams throughout history in terms of World Cup performances.

I'm not to proud to admit and even prove where I am wrong. It'll happen again but not as often as you think.
 
Due to my having a crappy book I actually made money today instead of pushing. I would have bet a full amount on Spain and 1/2 amounts on the over and the draw but since I didn't have an offering for the total I made out on the Spain win.
