Mattyrain just attacked me. Full on hissing, fangs, attacking to kill. She clawed the crap out of my calf and opposite knee.

We've been hanging out all night. She's been mostly sleeping and getting pet. I just fed her and spent about half an hour petting the kittens. I went downstairs to make some food for me, and then back upstairs to get my phone to check on Mr. X and Reno who went to get some drinks after hockey. As I walked across the room, she went from zero to ape shit and full on attacked me. I couldn't get to the phone and barely made it downstairs. No stitches needed, but I'm seriously bleeding here.

I went back up with a dish towel so I could get the phone and whip the crap out of her if she tried it again. She did and I countered with a sort of bull fighting cape thing. The second time I managed to avoid injury and call Mr. X. He was just paying the check when I called and should be home soon.

What the fuck people?

I'm upstairs on the other side of the house. She just came up here and I almost jumped on a chair when she came at me. But she just wanted to be pet. Is it too soon for PTSD?

I had the window open it's possible that the next door neighbor's dog started barking right when I decided to go up there. But Jesus man, I don't know if our cat/human relationship can be repaired. I'm still bleeding.

This story makes me sad. I love watching the shows where humans have a special bond with an animal (plommer, head out of the gutter). But then you always hear about the guy who was eaten by the bear or some crap like that.

We have a backyard kitty, I think it's feral, but we have been giving him water and food. At first, he wouldn't come within five feet of us. Lately, he has let me briefly pet his head but he then freaks out and runs away. I do not like your story, Mrs.X. I hope Mattyrain is ashamed of herself.
