The umpire Jim Joyce needs to be fired immediately. He just called a guy safe to that was out to ruin a perfect game with 2 outs in the 9th inning.

What a jagoff. Not everyday you blatantly blow a call to ruin something that's only happened 22 times in the 100+ years of a sport.

I can honestly say that in all of my 35+ years of watching games, that was the worst call in the history of sports, given the circumstances....

What really boggles my mind is that you know prior to that last pitch he had to know what the situation was (8.2 of perfect ball).

So he has to be saying to himself (self, if it's even close to bang bang at first you have to remember the situation).


I mean I kind of feel bad for Joyce because he will forever go down in history as a huge gaping butthole but man I really feel bad for Galaraga.
