Anyone listened to "The Endless River"?

I have not advanced from where the previous discussion left off a week or two back. Heard the one song that the radio station is playing several times. It is not grabbing me.

Then I said this:

You know, Pink Floyd has been a top-2 band for me forever and they have earned more of a shot than that. Maybe I will go seeking out another few songs at least.

No. I haven't done that.

This is damn near 50 years ago

Shit freaks me out.

I own it and think it is worthwhile. It's all instrumental (except for bits) so there's that. I enjoy it. And I enjoy it a lot more after a toke of weed. Does it stand up to 70's Floyd, of course not. But I think it is worth listening to and experiencing for Floyd fans. More than happy to own it.

My List

1. Animals
2. Wish You Were Here
3. Dark Side
4. The Wall
5. Meddle
6. The Final Cut
7. Piper
8. Obscured By Clouds
9. The Division Bell
10. A Momentary Lapse of Reason
11. Ummagumma
12. A Saucerful of Secrets
13. The Endless River

Did this off the top of my head so no idea on the actual total # of albums

I think you forgot Atom Heart Mother. :dunno:
but I have only listened completely, repeatedly Meddle--Momentary L. Although I know there's some good pre Meddle stuff.
Oh yeah, and Dark Side of the Moon can't be touched ever by anybody imo  especially Time. :bowpanda:

Foo Fighters? FW, I was under the impression their sole purpose was to poke fun at music industry. Not to be taken seriously:dunno:
I did like their Letterman gig. Of course they weren't playing their own songs there.

They are pretty straight forward, seem to re-invent themselves with the side projects. Very little in the rock genre that delivers any more.
