My card collection is stagnating a bit, I used to be very active in both the online/convention scene. With recently becoming self-employed, along with a shitty economy, cards just are where they used to be, and therefore, my buying has been down.

Any of you guys/gals collect? If so, lately or not???

I got a alot of basketball cards from the 90s that are just about worthless...

also got a Joe Montana rookie card that I was dissapointed to find out what it was worth...
havent been into collecting since my early teens

I have focused most of my attention of very high end stuff from 1980 backwards to about 1955; only H.O.F. type stuff - anything less than near-mint doesn't really interest me. I do collect rookies, but only up until about 2002....

yeah, it's a shame. Used to be almost any card of a good player or rookie card of an avg player were good finds. Now some HOF rookies are worthless.

Since they overproduced the regular cards to where they had no value, they started making inserts. Gambling for the kids is what it was.

I got about 8-10 Shaq rookie cards
back then I thought I'd have a gold mine in the future...
probally not even worth a dollar now

I used to collect cards (hockey more than baseball). Have a shitload of cards from late 80's - early 90's. I got caught up in the craze when card shops were opening all over the place. Madness! Most of what I have is prolly worthless -- been stored in boxes for 20 yrs.

My only card that has any real value.
