Tickets to Antiques Roadshow are hard to come by. I've been applying for years and have never won. This year I had to apply for the 8/17 show in Richmond as it was the closest to NYC and the other east coast location was on the same date as my wedding. Since I never win I didn't check my status when they draw winners in March... However, today I recieved two ticket in the mail! Unfortunately, my cousins wedding is that weekend... I knew this when I applied and intended to skip the wedding if I won. However, I've already booked travel so i guess Wedding it is.

The item I would take is a folk art poster that is alledgedly the First Place winner from a 1927 poster contest for the Cleaner Brooklyn Committee.

Xpy it is not. I might be able to get a credit (-25$/ea fee) but the hotel was booked at a "non-refundable" rate... I could see if anyone in the fam isnt booked yet and pass that off but it feels like the momentum is greatly aghainst us.
