I saved some pics to my internal SD card on the phone, which deleted them from the "my pics" on the phone.
how do I retrieve them from the SD card?

Download and install ASTRO File Manager (it's a free app if you can live with the ads) - it makes finding things really easy.

Take the SD card out of the Android and put it in a card reader in your laptop/desktop and browse the folders on it.
