Am I The Asshole for circumventing MrMonkey's ignore wishes

I burst his safe space by quoting a post from a poster he had on ignore allowing him to see the ignored posts

He used the feature as designed

I didn't use any mod feature or abused any admin power as anybody can quote a post and the ignoring person will be able to see a quote from an ignored person, but am I the asshole gamelive?

Anyway we settled it out of court and he has been compensated 40 tokens
