A Compassionate Plea

Is there a chance we could improve upon Posting Courtesy around here? There is a tendency to leave a fellow poster hangin and its unnecessary.

How much of a burden is there to just say, Im out, Im done, thats all I have to say on the matter? This signals the interested viewers as well as the participating posters that the conversation, at least from your end is done.

This simple gesture enables all others who were participating or merely following along that there is no need to keep refreshing to see whats next to come in a thread.

I cant be the only one who has gotten involved in the flow of conversation only to be left hangin because the person or persons to which I was conversing with got bored, distracted or simply grew tired and moved on. I cant be the only person who has come back time and time again to see if maybe, just maybe someone added to the conversation and felt so empty and unfulfilled when no-one had.

I implore you to be more considerate of you lifeless contemporaries and end you portion of a particular thread with some acknowledgment to others that you are done.

Together we can make GameLive a better place for all. Thank you.

You could also subscribe to the threads you start or post into so that you get an email when someone responds. This way you won't feel like you were left hanging and you can go back to your productive work day.
