2nd Half Curiousity

Maybe I have a very nave perspective but it amazes me we dont have more interaction around here.

Sure there is a little participation at times but with this being a small forum and for the most part everyone seems to basically get along I would think there would be a little more cooperation on games.

Maybe not prior to the games starting so much as mainly at the half time of games. With such a small window of opportunity to take advantage its doubtful that such a small group of poster could do enough to hurt the line yet we rarely do anything like that.

Is there any real reason? Not bitching just trying to get an understanding.

The general (or easiest) way to make money on 2nd half lines is to get an off market price by hitting a line at a slow moving book (on the basis that the comparable price at an efficient book represents an accurate long term probability of true winning %). And, as reno cool put it, discussion of whether or not Team X is going to want in more in the 2H or whether Team Y will be out for revenge is little more than coin flipping.

There are other things to discuss P-Rod. Some of us may have knowledge of which team are better at making adjustments at half time which is a key companent in making a decision. There are a variety of things that are worth talking about if for no other reason than group participation.

It was just something I noticed and addressed, it doesn't have to change. There are plenty of places were it is available just wondering why we don't do it as much is all. I had already made my play for the half when I posted so wasn't looking for a handout or even advice just wondering.

Durito, an observation about what is customary at other places is not the same as a knock. If I wanted to be at the other places I would be and wouldn’t need directions on how to get there.

It wasn’t a negative comment, it was just a curiosity.
