2016 British Open of golf

I always like the British Open and how the final round is already going when I get out of bed and my day starts right into it.

Don't know why I like that. The other majors generally line up nicely for watching the climax while having dinner. Something to be said for that.

Whatever, it's different and interesting.

These guys are killing it. This final pairing will probably have the two low rounds of the day. I wonder if that has ever happened before.

That's what you call rising to the pressure.

So damn, that was pretty amazing. To have the final pairing tear it up like that on the Sunday of a major - something to see.

The final leaderboard shows an 11 stroke gap between 2nd and 3rd place.

I wish I could say it was exciting but, though the front 9 was a duel with many lead changes, Stenson was just a machine on the back 9 and never seemed in danger.

Well deserved win and happy for Sweden to have their first male winner of a major. I remember when Weir did it for Canada and it was pretty cool.

It's hard to dislike Sweden.
