I think some people believe they can surround you with weapons systems and "defensive" interception systems that they can either force you to surrender, or expect to win a war. ..with acceptable loses. It all comes down to a matter of calculations and miscalculations.

Worry imo is that the plan is to provoke a war with Ukraine, and use that as a tool pressure the Russian oligarchs to overthrow the Russian govt. through color revolution type scenario.
