I feel like we used to argue about this @Blitty. I always say, if you go to NYC first time and DON'T go to Times Square you're missing out.

Times Square on your first visit to NYC is a must. After that, you’re wasting time and missing out on other cool neighborhoods and adventures.

Mrs MCB found a cherry blossom tree in the park! Went on a cable car ride above the mountains. A much smoother ride than I could ever imagine. Not like a hurky jerky ski lift and it's carrying so much weight over a long distance.. Rode the bullet train after which is crazy. Found a CrossFit gym to workout yesterday. Went to a "casino" which we found out does not pay real money. You buy in for a certain amount of money and they give you chips to play in a table game. We played 1/3 no limit hold em but they also had BL and Baccarat. You create a player card id that you can use it all poker rooms and based on how much you cash out at the end of a session, you can use those "coins" to buy in at the next location.

We are staying in Shinjuku near the start line for the marathon. Shinjuku feels like we are in Times Square with all the LED boards and such. Much quieter atmosphere much quieter people. At a crosswalk yesterday we were stopped with approximately 300 people and not one person was talking, it was completely silent.

I did not run but she did. Finished in 4 hrs 7 minutes on a very hot day. Today it is snowing and very windy and cold. Tonight we will celebrate!
