Never gonna build a bridge there pal, the ferry ride is awesome, I've done it at least 50 times starting in 1993-94 when I used to drive a charter bus on the mainland and the Island.

Not in my lifetime,been some serious cost overruns on bridges just in downtown Victoria doubt if they have the funds regardless

It is a nice trip but I have probably taken the ferry at least a thousand times in my lifetime.
