YouTube app is trying to emulate it, Instagram is trying to emulate and in a few months the FB app will change their algorithm to emulate TikTok.

TikTok's discoverability algorithm is the most addictive of all and those companies are jealous of it.

I think Tik Tok is beyond terrible for anyone under the age of 25 (especially those younger than 18). But I also don't like banning things

Yeah, Instagram Reels / FB Shorts / YouTube Shorts are all the same thing conceptually.

Though the ones on FB are the worst of the bunch quality-wise. It's all brainrot, but FB is a special case.
