Daughter of Candy Ride, yes. Out of an American Pharoah mare.
Candy Ride had his 3yo campaign in ARG and then they brought him stateside to get him some wins/legitimacy so he'd make it as a stallion. If he was born here he'd probably have been on the Derby trail. He's proven to be a very successful stallion here in the US and in SA.

Yeah. There's a lot of moving parts on this one but we were looking for 75k. We bought her back at 30k so now I own another horse (I'm in deep already with two racehorses and two broodmares).

Nah. I'm in way too deep already.
The managing partner offered to buy us 20% owners out at the 30k purchase price and we both took the offer. Again, lots of moving parts, but it only nets me 3k because it was a foal share (stallion farm gives us a free stud fee but owns half the foal until sale).
So I got 3k and the foal off the books. The MP thinks some time will clear up some small issues with this one and he'll be able to sell her down the line for more than she'll cost to carry. I wasn't willing to take that risk. I hope he gets 100k for her in 8mo.
