@CASPERWAIT$ little info on Liverpool match easily won 4-0 today. Lineups show yes 9 regular starters rested and and those two came out at 46' and 60' minutes. Two players first minutes of season (one only 16) and two others had only combined total of 99 minutes for the year lol.

Forest match only about 10 minutes left and up 2-0. :up

Also just so you know, these are some kind of England in year tournaments that top division the EPL can plays lower division teams. Kinda like compares to a top level Duke playing a Holy Cross during March Madness. Anything can happen but usually doesn't.

Okay Forest over with 2-0 win. Nine out of eleven normal starters didn't today. Though Wood and another first teamer did get in for 16'. It's going to tough Tuesday but at least Forest is well rested. :up

3PM English time and no doubt the Nottingham pubs will be open early and packed with hooligans!

So today’s match didn’t mean anything towards the rankings correct?

Not for the EPL.

Today was an FA Cup match. That's another tournament. It's played in elimination format among teams from all English divisions (from the top to the ninth division) randomly seeded. 763 teams play it every year. It's called the democracy in football. It's the oldest soccer tournament in the world started in 1871.

I think you and @MrMonkey mentioned that earlier this week. I didn’t grasp it in its entirety. Going to learn about this tournament and research.

I wouldn't invest too much time but do as you wish. RJ explained in entirely which I had no idea about. Important I guess to the lower level league club fans but usually not to the top EPL clubs ManC, Pool, Arsenal, etc etc.

EPL title and Champion League success takes higher priority. IMO best comparison is the NBA and that midseason contest (honestly don't have a clue) for some trophy. Don't believe many fans remember that as some big accomplishment by their team.

Got to hang in there for 45 more minutes but a second goal would be nice! Going to be tough as Pool was a heavy fav. As we saw stats say 70-30% poss. ad and 2-0 corners for Liverpool but they don't have the goal. Also 7 shots off target and nothing on Forest GK but can't continue with the 70-30.

@roguejuror where you at bro?
