Since we started this venture, they’ve only lost 3 matches.

I’ve been able to catch 4 of them which I wasn’t expecting to see that many in the states. It’s actually not hard to get the matches on TV.
And who knows since they’ve been doing so well TV might possibly schedule more matches of Forest as the prime game. :dunno:

Well secured 4th spot up 3 points on two clubs tied in 5th place. Tough home match against Nottingham coming up but two winnable away ones against Everton and Wolves if they continue good form under this guy.
nuno espírito santo

Without question yes and just another good performance from Forest looking just to get the lead and hold on.
So far only one game I’ve seen them play have they kept the offensive energy going after taking the lead.

It seems they grab a lead and go into a “prevent” of some sort. Today they didn’t look like they were getting any shots off. Hell I’ll take a 1-0 win lol

It's like I guess with most sports when the less talented teams get a lead, more timers than not go into defensive mode if possible.

Another win delighting the home crowd and 3rd place presently though Arsenal should easily beat Ipswich so probably be 4th with 34 points.

Great news now 5 points clear of tied 5th teams with 29 points. Halfway through season and UNREAL these guys are in this position.
They may actually be in Champions League next year correct?

Top 4 right now make it. Extra money to be had with better chance for players transferring to one of the 36 teams that make it. Players love to showcase their talents in CL action and if choice with going with CL team or not, they usually choose the CL qualifying team as long as not big salary difference.

With massive EPL TV deal each team receives the same amount of money. From last season figures.
Regardless of where a club finishes in the league, they are guaranteed to earn around £88.6million for their equal cut of the UK and international broadcast deals.

Top clubs like ManC, Liverpool, ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal though have better financial deals from sponsor say names on jerseys etc etc. If they finish 1st or 15th (which they never will) still make out well.

Just looked this up .... looks as bad if not worst than MLB. LOL assuming the food spread after ManC matches better than what Forest players eat. Named teams above historically top money clubs so little surprised by Tottenham amount and very surprised Newcastle getting that much.

So how does Forest finishing 4th other than CL action help them out to improve team.
Here's what I looked up for money difference earned finishing 1st to 20th for last season, 2023-24. Of course will be slightly higher after this season, but going by below figures, Forest would make 40.4 euro or 42M more.

So money wise, it’s not a huge difference?
No, 42M extra to spend IMO for a team like them is a lot. The owner I believe wants to spend money. So as long as they put it back into the club, might be able to have some staying powers like say a top 6-10 place club. I would think if 4th place this season might be higher sponsor money to be had. We shall see, still long way to go in season.
