Have you revisited since losing your job? I believe it's open enrollment right now, but even if not loss of job also counts as a qualifying loss event. You might be entitled to better/cheaper with the income change.

Yes I did, will get a good tax break on it. I hope to have it until I find something that offers insurance. Thankfully I don’t smoke or have any pre-existing conditions. The fact remains that insurance is crippling the people that can afford it to benefit the people who can’t.
