Hope you're right my foodie friend! Surprisingly Birds have covered easily last three. Seems like short fav Philly and I would feel safer with -3 coming out with a possibly push worst case.
I see it as Daniels consistently >>> Hurts who has had a real up and down season. Wash OC has done a great job with what he has to work with. On paper what Hurts has with Barkley, Brown, Smith and Goedert is better.
I think where Eagles have the edge will be on defense. Eagles 4.4 YPR while Wash at 4.8. Both teams can be run on though Eagles have given up 3 rushes of 20+ yards while 0 of 40+.
Redskins. Commanders given 10 rushes of 20+ yards and 10 of 40+. Will Barkley break one tonight?
Eagles pass defense has been better than expected with two rookies DB starting. Both LB have been awesome and probably playing over their heads. Opponents only averaging 6.1 YDS per attempt while Commanders at 7.4 YDS. Big ad for Eagles is giving up only 6 pass TDs while Wash at 17. Plus QB rating of 78.4 given up by Philly while Wash at 102.5. Wash has +6 TO ad while Eagles at +1.
Looks like a slight Philly ad for win but Wash is tied for most points in the league. Just must be outscoring everyone. And Daniels just scares me how composed he has been and unfortunately hate to say it, Hurts scares at times in a bad way. Watching Daniels as a rookie just seems to know where to move in the pocket while Hurts panics sometimes too early and doesn't see second/third reads.
Almost forgot, only 3 days rest for both teams. Philly had easy one, game over 3rd quarter while Wash fought till the end with Steelers. So looking at Sunday snap counts concentrating on defense. One Eagle had 57 and next 8 players went 52 to 36 and rest in twenties and lower. Commanders on other hand had three players at 78 snaps and next eight went from 77 to 39. Like to see Eagles pound the ball on the ground though Wash pass defense too weak not to go after them.
For me it's all up to how Hurts plays, if better than average (no careless TO) Philly wins unless Daniels just has another game where he goes off. He's dealing with slight rib injury so can see why first 5 games 57 rushing attempts while only 28 last 5. Hoping he finally plays more like a rookie QB.
