New machine approved for the assisted suicide industry in Switzerland.

It’s a 3-D printed capsule, activated from the inside by the person intending to die. The machine can be towed anywhere for the death. It can be in an idyllic outdoor setting or in the premises of an assisted suicide organization, for example.

The person will get into the capsule and lie down. It’s very comfortable. They will be asked a number of questions and when they have answered, they may press the button inside the capsule activating the mechanism in their own time.

The capsule is sitting on a piece of equipment that will flood the interior with nitrogen, rapidly reducing the oxygen level to 1 per cent from 21 per cent. The person will feel a little disoriented and may feel slightly euphoric before they lose consciousness. The whole thing takes about 30 seconds. Death takes place through hypoxia and hypocapnia, oxygen and carbon dioxide deprivation, respectively. There is no panic, no choking feeling.

1,300 people died by assisted suicide in Switzerland in the year 2020.

My mom's old boss went to die in Switzerland some 15 years ago. Was left quadriplegic after a motorcycle accident (which happened on his very first ride 😳)

Assisted suicide wasn't a thing in Canada back then. I wonder how he made that happen.

My neighbor had surgery scheduled for yesterday, to remove part of his lung. He had his voicebox removed a couple years ago from cancer.
So today we find out the poor guy had part of his lung removed AND they amputated his left leg because they found something else. They may also have to remove the right leg.
He refuses to go into a nursing home, so assisted suicide seems like an option if available.
Really feel for the guy, can't talk, now can't walk and cancer likely spreading.

Enjoy life fellas, none of us are getting off this planet alive.
