I pay for tickets like Cubs games 1k a seat all the time, but that's all inclusive (food/drinks) just saying 2k/seat seems excessive, since it doesn't include anything but sitting there.
In seriousness, Chappelle or comedian tickets are arguably worth a lot more. Cubs play 81 at home while Chappelle may only come around a couple times in your life. Obviously each person might value sports Fandom > comedian Fandom but on an opportunity cost basis the comedian is more rare.
