Calling someone Hitler is a lot more inflammatory.

It’s like calling someone a murderer or calling someone Charles Manson.

Comparing to Hitler is akin to calling someone Satan.

You and I both know 70% of the population doesn’t even know what a fascist is. Not really inflammatory when so few people know what it means.
 
VD, I can only speak for myself in this thread when I say I’m not defending Trump or saying he doesn’t say stupid things.

What I am saying is that Harris does it on a different level. Her verbiage is mind numbingly embarrassing. She’s a truly awful speaker.

Picking between the lesser of two evils, I’ll go with the devil I know (Trump) over the devil I don’t (Harris)

Yeah do your thing for sure! Voting for Trump as lesser of two evils makes perfect sense to me, especially if his party and policies are more in line with your own.

I'm just genuinely baffled at this narrative that Harris is dumber, more dangerous, etc. I just don't see it. Yes she's a shitty speaker. Yes the left blows everything Trump says out of proportion.

But I just can't imagine watching her talk for 10 minutes and him talk for 10 minutes and coming away thinking hes more intelligent, clear, stable, etc. Not talking about policy here, I just mean on a human level.

Alas, that seems to be the way 10s of millions feel. Crazy stuff.

Trump is a total salesman, few are.buying what Kamala is selling.
 
What makes her more dangerous to many is what she isn’t saying and what her true intentions are.

Like you said yourself, you find what Trump says more dangerous. Now mix those feelings with Harris’ comments and what you get is a dynamite keg that sets of Trump haters to some very dangerous extremes….like assassination attempts.

I can only go with what has transpired so far but I haven’t seen any of those on Harris.

We as people generally are more scared of the unknown. It’s what is the underlying theme of every horror film.

She is an unknown. Ironically she thinks she’s telling us everything (with her verbose word salad) but she’s not telling us anything.

We know Trump isn’t any more honest than Harris. If Harris actually expressed her TRUE vision as President (which Trump most certainly does), this race wouldn’t be as close.

Good question.

Do I think she would do anything different? No. Do I think she will try to do things more extreme than what we’ve dealt with the last 4 years? Yes.

I think a lot of people forget we live in a system of checks and balances. The power a president wields unilaterally is not nearly as strong as people assume.

The same reason why Trump and his extreme ideas were never fully implemented when he was president.

I think whomever is president, it’s more of a daily mindset that will permeate amongst the American people.

Both sides do not want to breathe the other sides “air”.
