Right. Still out of 90ish counties, three are purple and can change who wins. Three are 7-8 blue counties that basically even the other 80 red ones out.

That's clearly not true. Every red vote in those blue counties counts, and every blue vote in those red counties count. Living in one of the purple counties doesn't affect the value of your vote at all.
