Yeah if you separate them, I can see the 1960s music being on top. I’m an 80s guy so I’d flip flop w the 70s on that.

Movies the 80s would edge out the 90s agreed. 50s movies were better than 60s movies IMO

hate to be a contrarian but can't take a list serious when it doesn't include the 1810's

star spangled banners still brings tears to many an American and all the "wish they were Americans" eyes
Movies were non existent then so it cannot be included in said Top Ten. I bet Francis Scott Key would’ve done the soundtrack though.

I played on a Chicago baseball team ( electrons) he founded years ago. I didn't know his past when I met him at a few of the games. just thought he was the dude that bought our uniforms and hung out at and at bar after some games. then I heard him telling some stories about some local Chicago punk bands he worked with and looked up his studio. seemed really smart but otherwise regular dude

You look at the Nineties and SO many amazing films and music. Also the grunge movement and indie film industry changed the landscape permanently
Completely agree!

The 1990’s were the best years..

I think the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack puts the 1970’s into the Top 3 on its own.

Look, I get that the falsetto’s can be a turn off for some.

But Saturday Night Fever from a songwriting perspective is just other wordly

It plays like a Greatest Hits album but Barry and his brothers wrote the whole thing over like a 6 week period.

No one could ever convince me that Barry Gibb isn’t in the top 10 all time songwriters.

I hope they make The Bee Gees movie before Barry dies.
