I gotta say, I think it's gonna be Kamala. I'm shocked after the biden fiasco and attempted assassination. Obviously i live in a blue bubble and admittedly I don't consume any of the media on the election since it's all trash. So I have no idea what's happening in the battlegrounds... just feels like the anti trumpers are so rabid/fervent that they'll make it happen. Once again in America the side of political intolerance and violent extremism gonna prevail.

I Iike facts
More facts.
id versus notid
Looks like a couple likes and no responses to great post. A FACT that most here don't really care about, maybe mostly relating to illegals coming to our country or a FACT that there is no argument to be had. :dunno:

Here's awhile back RJ asking me this about i guess where I get my facts .....
MrMonkey in the last 30 days have there been a day where you don't tune in to a cable news channel?
So I give him these two questions ....
Just a few! Tell me the factual posts I have posted here that aren't true?

Do you think voter ID should be required to cast a ballot?
brown cricket

:hmm:

CB, I going to go on the record saying RJ from abstaining from answering prefers NO voter ID required.

PS I like facts too!

I like Kamalas chances, but you seem awfully confident in what by all accounts appears to be a coinflip.

I expect as the election draws nearer people will start to really think about what a Trump presidency will mean and rally around the "anyone but Trump" movement.

I really don't believe it will be as close as current predictions say. The moeyline will probably (likely) end up with Harris as a bigger fave come election time.

I have faith in the American people, I know there are alot of dumbericans and they make the news but I believe they are vastly outnumbered by smarter Americans that will get the job done and make sure this orange turd loses in November.

I guess it’ll come down to style vs ideology. Trump is an idiot, but he can surround himself with good people. I can’t deal with the glitz and gloss of Kamala etc. it’s like they need reaffirming from Hollywood and have no real platform. The single issue women will win it for her.

As an outsider what is most noticeable is the differences in energy between the two campaigns.

Trump is all negative energy, complaining, threatening, fear mongering etc.

Harris side seems far more upbeat, positive, hopeful etc.

Americans who were indifferent or resigned to the fact Biden was going to lose now feel much better about the election and it shows.

Positive energy trumps negative and thats why I am confident in a Harris win.

Thats how I'm handicapping this race, nothing to do with the actual issues because its likely neither party will deliver on most of the promises they make pre-election.

I would love to spread joy. In my sales, when I’m up 24/25 years, now down 4 years straight and lose half of my customers to a shit economy, it’s hard. I’m supposed to worry about abortions, when is the left concerned about anyone outside of their circle? Actually I’m for them - the more future libs gone, the better.

I hear you.
I personally wouldn't be able to trust Trumps word regarding his policy.
If the Dems win at least then the R's can finally rid themselves of the cancer that is DJ Trump.

We're cheering for ya, pal.

If you were up for 24/25 years, with continued success across both dem and rep presidents, it seems unlikely that this recent downturn is purely on Biden. Probably has more to do with fallout from COVID? Global inflation certainly isn't solely on Biden.

I miss Republicans like McCain and Kasich that were decent people. I voted W over Gore. Catering to the ugliest side of the R party with a guy like Trump instead of fiscal responsibility and human decency doesn't give people who care about social issues much of a choice.

As someone who appreciates facts, surely you must agree that voter fraud simply is not a thing at any mathematically relevant level. It is a complete non-issue. This has been proven and reported time and time again by countless investigations.

Here are facts on why voter ID laws disproportionately hurt elderly and low-income voters:

You love the constitution, don't you Mr. Monkey? Your right to free speech? Your right to bear arms? Your right to vote? Why would you want to make it more difficult for hundreds of thousands of legal American citizens to vote to fix a voter fraud issue that doesn't exist?

we gotta put an age limit on this job.

Donald Trump was asked today if he would commit to prioritizing legislation to make childcare affordable, and if so, what specific legislation he would advance.

This is an unedited transcript of his response:

Well, I would do that, and we're sitting down, and I was, somebody, we had Senator Marco Rubio, and my daughter Ivanka was so, uh, impactful on that issue. It's a very important issue. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about, that, because, look, child care is child care is. Couldn't, you know, there's something, you have to have it – in this country you have to have it.

But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I'm talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they're not used to — but they'll get used to it very quickly – and it's not gonna stop them from doing business with us, but they'll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country. Uh, those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we're talking about, including child care, that it's going to take care.

We're gonna have - I, I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time, coupled with, uh, the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country, because I have to stay with child care. I want to stay with child care, but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I'm talking about, including growth, but growth also headed up by what the plan is that I just, uh, that I just told you about.

We're gonna be taking in trillions of dollars, and as much as child care, uh, is talked about as being expensive, it's, relatively speaking, not very expensive compared to the kind of numbers we'll be taking in. We're going to make this into an incredible country that can afford to take care of its people, and then we'll worry about the rest of the world. Let's help other people, but we're going to take care of our country first. This is about America first. It's about Make America Great Again, we have to do it because right now we're a failing nation, so we'll take care of it. Thank you. Very good question. Thank you.
