Bought a clock at a garage sale 2 weeks ago for $5.00. I really just liked the look. Got it home and appears it is made by some high end swiss company and they are selling on Ebay in $200 area. One exactly like it sold for $900. One exactly like it sold for $150. Now I am trying to decide if I like it enough to hold onto it or if I should sell it I guess for $150 I would hold onto it..for $900 I would sell it.

Thanks! It was probably offset by something else I bought thinking it was something and turned out it wasn't. Seems like I overpaid on something recently, but can't think what it was...when I figure it out I'll post it in the other thread.

I got a brand new canister set in box for $8. I figure what it retailed for when I looked it up, but it was at least 5x that.

also at garage sale...brand new in box wine chiller for $3. Retail at least $30
 
I guessed how many jelly beans were at this event thing and won 500 for being closest.

They also gave all my information to a time share and I wasted a day saying no and got a free 5 day cruise, but it was a basic bitch model so we spent 250 to upgrade to the middle class option.

On the free cruise I won a poker tournament and got entry into another cruise but choose the cash option instead which resulted in +1200.

500+1200-250=1450 + free cruise for guessing how many jelly beans at some bs fundraiser that i didnt even want to go to but didnt feel like arguing with my wife about
