I have the same one. 2003

Mine has 30,000 miles. Bought it almost new with 900 miles on it.

Yeah I love it. It's more of like a commute bike for me. I ride it to work a lot and we ride in the North Georgia mountains on Sundays.

How long have you had yours?

About 5 years. I really want to ride it to Alaska one of these summers.

About to swap the fuel tank on my bike. The current tank is from a different year (and different color) and I managed to snag a NOS black tank for $150 on Fleabay. Derusted and resealed it. S'gonna look noice.

I've bled my brakes, changed my oil, cleaned my carbs and took my rear wheel off to (unsuccessfully) change my own tire.

Hah, I remember when I unsuccessfully tried to change my own tire. I still have the scratches on my wheel from my hissy fit.

Managed to break the bead on one side after 30 minutes of swearing. Then I got angry and I tried to run over the tire with a car to break the other side. It didn't do shit.

Never again.

Fill my tank to the brim this morning. Find a guy who is renting a parking spot in my building's heated underground garage. Park my bike in the heated garage. Come back to my bike an hour later -gas is pouring out from the cap and dripping all over the floor. WTF! WTF! WTF! Then it dawns on me.

Boys, gas expands.
