What's the GameLive general consensus on this 8.5 point spread? Cornell is a good story and all, and the public is eating up the good story and the line has moved towards Cornell, from 9 or 9.5 down to 8.5.

Over a 40 minute game, Kentucky's athleticism is just too much. I see this one being a rout, around a 20 point win and it would not shock me to win by 30.

If I were actually wagering money in sportsbooks, this would be the biggest bet of my life. Complete mismatch.

I also thought Wisconsin would beat Cornell, so my estimation of that preppy Ivy squad obviously isn't something I have a lot of confidence in. On the surface though, I agree with you; Kentucky should pick them apart. My gut tells me that we're in for a 'Cuse/Duke final, so I still think Kentucky will choke at some point during the weekend.

Professionally, would you say this is a Lakers-Nets Match-up?

Don't know if it will be a blowout, but UK should cover. Temple and Wiscy had no inside game. They rely on defense. UK has so much firepower even if their defense isn't that great don't see how the Bid Red stays with them. Might seem easy for Cornell to slow game down but not against these athletes IMO. How will Cornell avoid UK from going inside on offense and not get in foul trouble. IMO the fairy tale ends.

Oops I transposed it wrong. 3-4. Units is the same.

But whatever!!! Stop losing when I follow for big! I bet all kinds of different amounts!

Herman godammit if I ever meet you, your face is going to meet the pavement for losing me money!

Not sure what you mean by real line. Bottom line is Kentucky names the score here. You have 4 NBA first round picks in 3 months balling against a bunch of white Ivy Leaguers and the spread is only 8.5.

The statistical line (Durito can jump in any time with a "LOL"). How much of the "story" has been been built into that number. DO you really think it should be -20?....-11 to -13 if anything IMO
