Guys Please Help Me Out...

1. I need new windshield wipers. I can buy those myself right? How do I install them?

2. I need more windshield cleaning fluid stuff. I bought some at Target for 10bucks in a big jug... i can just pour that in myself right?

3. I had my brakes replaced entirely in April. They said they might squeal for a week. well now it's September and the squeak and squeal every time I touch them. It's embarrassing and gives me away when I'm trying to be stealth. I know I should have taken it back right away, but I'm lazy about my car... so what do I need to do to fix my breaks?

4. my tire pressure light goes on all the time, it's been on now for 2 or 3 weeks. I hit a pot hole back in Feb and bent the tire rim, as a result one every 6 to 8 weeks I have to add air to my rear right tire. Well I need to add air again, but i'm thinking I ought to replace the rim. Mazda wants to charge me $500 and Firestone is asking for $450. Can't I buy one online like on craigslist or e-bay and have some local place put it on for me?

sorry to be such a girl about this whole car thing....

Go to somewhere like Autozone, they will know the correct wipers for your particular model/year. It's pretty easy to install yourself.

Read the instructions - it might need diluting with water, it might not.

Do you drive the car a lot? Running in new brake pads depends on distance driven rather than time elapsed. If you have used the car a lot since April then there probably is a problem. I presume that you got some kind of warranty when you got the brakes fitted, I'd take it back for them to check.

Never go to the dealer for anything (especially something like a wheel rim which doesn't even drive the car) unless you want to pay through the nose. I'd recommend getting a quote from a reputable local place (yelp is your friend here) or one that one of your friends/family can recommend. You might also want to consider taking a guy there when you take it in, just in case.

actually if you smile pretty and ask nicely, one of the guys at autozone will put the blades on for you and probably pour the wiper fluid in the right place for you too...

im sure the brakes you bought were lifetimers...most all of them are these days...so take the car back to the greasemonkeys that fixed it and tell them their is an issue...they should have you in the computer, but having the receipt would be the tits

your rim is fucked, but you knew that...get the phone book out and call some used car parts places around town...what they will do is call junkyards and other used car parts places and find you a rim that fits your car...or they will be lazy and say they aint got it...then you just ask them to refer you to somewhere else or just keep calling around...if the car isnt brand new, you dont need a new rim...calling around to these used car places and/or junkyards will give you a much easier chance of finding 1 rim....going on craiglist or whatever is useless as they want to sell you all 4...as will any type of tire/rim shop you are thinking about..they are useless too.

1. Very easy to install. If you go to a parts store ask them to install them for you for free.
2.Yes open the WF container in your car and pour it in. Read the car manual if you think you can't find it.
3. Next time ask for ceramic brake pads. They don't squeal. If your car stops don't worry about the squealing.
4. Don't worry about it. It's a car rim. They are supposed to bend.

1. you dont need wipers, just buy some RainX and shit can the wipers

2. yea, just pour it in the cyclinder that has a cap on it that says 10W -30W or something like that. Make sure to check it with the dipstick to see if its full.... or just pour it in till it comes out the top.

3. brake pads are rip offs, just keep driving it. the wheel rotors will stop the car, no need for pads

4. beat on it with a ball pin hammer until it looks like ya got the warp out

those brake places are fucking assholes.

those wipers just snap in, don't make the mistake of unscrewing the whatever fucking screws they got on em, or attaching the extra pieces that always seem to come with em for no reason. :dunno:
