Sad days around here boys... Lorenzen Wright was a friend of mine and his death has a lot of people around here really wondering what the fuck happened. I saw Lorenzen the saturday night before he went missing... Im much better friends with his little brother, but we were all hanging out and the guy seemed as happy as he could be and he actually left the club fairly early.

The media keeps saying that it was a surprise that he was in financial debt, but we all knew he was broke...bad investments, all those kids and ex wife...anyways, he was broke. nobody knows for sure what really happened...thoughts of a big investment deal going bad to his ex wife having him killed for life ins. and even illegal activities that people around him were involved in could have been the case here.

It sucks because he really wasnt your typical memphis thug athlete that made it... he started businesses for family members, was always at hoops camps and doing charity work..im not saying the guy was totally innocent, but was really a decent guy who actually tried to help out the communities he lived in.

Dunno if my bro-in-law will be the lead ADA on this yet, but hopefully ill get some info rolling in before the media gets a hold of anything...if they ever get a hold of anything...

Guess we forget about the human aspect of these sad stories because we are so far removed from it. Hate to even speculate what might have occurred and the trauma it will cause his family and friends.
