Damn. I just caught up with this and I was a little surprised at how hard everybody came down on Daft. I read the post. I suppose his wife or sgtc(?) is the culprit? Or his confessing via ghost? Either way is it really our business? I guess MF and Rain had previous beef....I dunno just seems like the last thing he needs are his 'Internet Homies' stressing him on his personal life. I guess I can see how that might bother some though.

I'm on the same page as you here.
To the guys that had beef with him over his personality or whatever, that's one thing.
But for anyone here to jump on the thumpings over his personal matters is pretty weak. Daft has been over here with us from day one, and like him or dislike him he was a well-rounded contributor.
I'd go out on a ledge to guess that there isn't a male poster here who has never been a "weasel" when it comes to a significant other. I'd also guess there are some guys here who might fail from time to time in their fatherly duties.
It's freedom of speech, but I would suggest a little tact. If you want to call him pretentious, douchey, metro, materialistic etc etc ...whatever. But as far as I recall, Daffy never really deeply attacked anyone here (besides MF, but those two had been going at it for months). Let the man handle his personal issues in peace.

I agree that his personal life is none of our business and the post by NickytheNoodle was inappropriate for the lurking eyes of unnamed people.
BUT, I find it hard to consider the feelings of someone who lies about his own fucking child. It takes a special kind of asshole to do that. Mind you, this wasn't just a lie on the internet, he lied to my face the last time we hung out. Even went so far as to pull his wallet out to show me a picture of his "son" (singular) with whom he had visitation with the following day and how his baby mama was upset that he had his hair cut into a mohawk at one point. Funny to find out he was living with his wife and "son" all along. And to think he made me feel bad about the text message I sent to his mistress.
Lol, liars.
For the record, I'm *absolutely* not judging Daft for the personal stuff that was uncomfortably exposed. Ok, maybe for the fact that he would lie about the number of kids he had - wtf?!? Other than that everyone's got their reasons for doing the things they do, myself included, and I thought it was pretty shitty of Nickythenoodle to come in publically with that stuff.
My "beef" with him is/was 100% related to the personality that transpired online, which was insincere, weaselly when confronted and full of superficial shit.

Robyn - is it weird that he felt the need to mislead about that topic? Sure. But at the end of the day did it affect anyone here? So maybe now we all know not to date him anytime in the future. Other than that, I really don't care.
