    Playoff time! This early game is a strange one to call, irregardless of the texas stats in december and wilsons numbers lately, I know the popular opinion on the boards for texas but the Rays are putting up some incredible numbers in September as well. Tampa Bay is off one of the most remarkable runs to the wild card in recent memory. They were actually trailing Boston by 10 games at the start of September and in the final game of the regular season they were down 7-0 in the eighth inning vs. the Yankees, and all Boston had to do was close out the ninth. It was an incredible comeback for the Rays in the final game of the season and for the whole month of September.

    There are a few teams I never win with. I can bet on them or against them and it makes no difference. Southern Miss happens to be one of those teams. I never seem to be on the right side of their games. I guess I should just give up even trying but I have this stubborn streak.

    Syracuse benefitted from a bad call and an even worse replay that upheld the bad call in order to get the win last Saturday against Toledo. Take that out of the equation though and I would have to admit that I was impressed that the Orangemen were able to be in that game enough to even have it come down to something that close. I honestly though Toledo’s offense would be too much for them.

    As I am writing this I am watching the line drop in this contest. It opened at 4.5 and 5 at most places and any that opened at 5 pretty quickly went to 4.5. Now I am seeing the line at 3.5 in a bunch of places. I imagine this latest movement has something to do with the game being moved from 3:30 to 8:00. I can only speculate but I imagine many well informed people already knew this would happen. I also know that while The Swamp is always a good home field advantage it is even more so at night, much like playing at LSU but not quite.

    Heading into the final game of the season for both clubs both sides have had years they'd rather forgot. Both teams however will be looking to head into the 2012 season on a winning note

    Port Adelaide having only had 2 wins for the season will be looking for vengance after last week letting slip a 37 point lead deep into the final quarter against finals bound Essendon at Etihad Stadium.

    The big thing I am watching out for his Albert Pujols status today, sports options has him listed as doubtful because of his wrist, if anyone knows anything more it would be much appreciated, I am already on the Brewers but I may add another unit if he is out.

    I dont like betting against teams on a streak and the Nationals are starting to really hit the ball and are looking good. They have now won 4 in a row and are getting back to .500. The Braves on the other hand have lost 3 in a row and may missing Heyward today but The Braves havent lost more than 3 in a row this year and Beachy is coming off a fantastic game.

    Durito pissed me off one night and I wanted to prove something to one of the Pro’s. It turned out that Durito was drinking and was just trying to get a rise out of me which he did. It’s hard to bow up on the internet so I made this challenge as a way to head butt Durito.

    So I am in Mississippi for our annual Mississippi Masters Tournament and to say Team Florida performed miserably would be an understatement. Getting our asses handed to us for the 2nd straight year in as many events is bad enough but I managed to make it just a he'll of a lot worse.

    Day #2 rained us out as we were under way on the afternoon round. The Oaks course is a play out, play in course, meaning there is no turn at the clubhouse. All 7 teams were just about done with the 9th hole when it just started flooding. We sat there under a shelter for about an hour until the rain slacked enough to head back to the clubhouse.
