According to Google's Insight for Search New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has become one of the web's most sports related search term in Asian countries.
Hong Kong leads the searches for 'jeremy lin' just as the NY Knicks won their 7th game in a row. Six of those having Lin as a starter. Basketball, and mainly the NBA, is Hong Kong's second most popular betting sport.
Taiwan is second on the list and it's where Lin's parents emigrated from in the 1970's to settle in California. Singapore, also a strong basketball betting country, and the Philippines make up the top 4.
