Race #5 G1 Flower Bowl Invitational
We are HUGH on the #1 Deluxe. We like the change from Castro to Johnny V. and you can always expect a Euro shipper to improve on their 2nd start in N.A. while on Lasix. This filly is 3/1 ML and should be a decent price when the race goes off as the #8 will be bet heavily.
Race #6 G1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational
The #1 is 4/5 and could go off even lower than that. Horse is the classiest and most in-form in the race. That being said we are going to take a flyer on the #4 Mission Approved at 12/1 ML. This old war horse is the lone speed in the race and was actually claimed for $35k last summer. It later went on to win the G1 Manhattan on the front end at 21/1. Here's hoping the guy can do something similar. Box an exactor saver with #1.
Race #7 G1 Vosburgh Invitational
#6 Big Drama has seemed to find his niche as a sprinter after being on the Triple Crown trail a couple of years ago. That being said we are going to try and take a price on this #5 Giant Ryan 12/ML. This Colt is in form and already has a win over the sandy Belmont strip back in May. He should be able to press what should be a hot pace and make a move deep in the stretch.
Race #8 G2 Kelso Handicap
This appears to be a 2 horse race between #2 Jackson Bend and #3 Uncle Mo. If you can get anything near the 5/2 ML that Jackson Bend is supposed to be I would jump allover it. I would jump all over it at anything over 7/5 actually.
Race #9 G1 Beldame Invitational
Looks to be a paid workout for #5 Harve de Grace and the 3/5 ML indicates as much. Would pass this race. Get a beer.
Race #10 G1 JCGC
Another two horse race. We like the #6 A.U. Miner at 10/ML. Borel will be waiting to pounce and will be running late with this one and will most likely be ignored on the tote.
