Heading into the final game of the season for both clubs both sides have had years they'd rather forgot. Both teams however will be looking to head into the 2012 season on a winning note

Port Adelaide having only had 2 wins for the season will be looking for vengance after last week letting slip a 37 point lead deep into the final quarter against finals bound Essendon at Etihad Stadium.


Melbourne broke a 5 game winning streak last week against the exhausted Gold Coast Suns, giving interim coach Todd Viney his 1st win under the helms of the Demons.

In for Port Adelaide is their symbolic leader in Dean Brogan, who will be playing his farewell game in front of a boisterous home crowd. The demons will be having to restructure their entire game plan to suit the extra width of the Adelaide Oval.

This, their performance last week and their desire to lose that wooden spoon should see Port Adelaide get up for their 3rd win of the season.
